North Georgia Wedding Photographer-Kayla and Josh Misko
I had the privilege of photographing this gorgeous couple at their engagement session last year, and April 27, 2023 was finally the big day these two said “I DO!” It has been such a blast to get to know these two throughout their engagement and wedding planning.
Kayla and Josh got married at R-Ranch in the Mountains located in Dahlonega, Georgia. You could not ask for a better backdrop, as this venue has a breathtaking view of rolling hills and the Blueridge Mountains. There is no surprise it is a popular wedding destination for many couples!
April 27 dawned and with it came lots and lots of rain! I was just hoping all day that we would be able to at least get a few pictures of Kayla and Josh outside. The weather did not disappoint and we were in fact able to capture some beautiful photos in between the rain storms. Honestly, I almost would wish for more rain after seeing the beautiful tableau made with raindrops and a clear umbrella.
You could just feel the palpable love of everyone there during the ceremony and in the toasts during the reception. I know all this love is just a testament to what an incredible couple Kayla and Josh truly are.
Speaking of the reception, pulling out a money gun with fake money was such a fun and creative idea. Even the kids there got to be involved by making snow angels in all the money on the dance floor. All the laughter and love will truly be memories held by everyone present for a lifetime.
Kayla was absolutely breathtaking in her gown and her bridesmaids all looked so beautiful and unique in their varieties of all black dresses. Josh also cleaned up nicely in his all black suit. The black and white with rustic backdrop was truly amazing.
